| Today I went back to work on a friend's car to finish up the clutch job. Some of you may remember my first post on this subject. This is the followup WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGES AHEAD This stuff is really gruesome. Can anyone top this? I've personally never seen anything like it- ever.
This is exactly how it was when I removed it from the flywheel.

some comparison shots with the new RPS NA clutch

Well, went back under to inspect the flywheel and found this:

Hundreds of small stress fractures. I'm guessing that once this clutch went out the owner kept driving it until it wouldn't drive anymore. By that time, the clutch disk had almost completely shredded, and there was only a lump of debris left. This would explain why I couldn't loosen the crank pulley with the tranny in 5th gear. What do you guys think?
